Short links in the workspace always run on your own domain. Without a domain you can’t create short links under LINK. So start here.
No domain yet? Short domains like yourname.link are available from any domain provider. Ask the Agent too: “Is yourname.link still available?”

Connect a domain

1

Enter the domain

Open LINK → Domain, type your domain into the field, without www., and click Domain verbinden (connect domain). This works with a whole domain (yourname.link) or a subdomain (go.yourname.com).
2

Set the DNS records

oxom shows a table with Typ, Name and Wert (type, name, value). Enter these records at your domain provider. You copy each value with one click.
  • Whole domain: an A record for @ and a CNAME for www
  • Subdomain: a CNAME
  • Sometimes an additional TXT record for verification
3

Check

Click Erneut prüfen (check again) until it says Live. This usually takes a few minutes, sometimes longer.
With a whole domain, www redirects automatically.

Multiple domains

You can connect as many domains as you like, e.g. one for merch and one for streams. Which one is preselected when creating, you set under Settings. That’s also where you set where someone lands who only opens yourname.link/.

Disconnecting a domain

Domain trennen (disconnect domain) asks you to type the domain, to be safe. As long as short links still run on the domain or your SITE lives under it, this doesn’t work. Move the links to another domain first or delete them.

Good to know

  • Domains of oxom itself can’t be connected. Neither can a domain that is already connected elsewhere in oxom.
  • Your SITE can also run under yourname.link/links, see SITE: Publishing and domain.
  • Owners, creators, admins and technicians can change domains.
