Publishing
1
Save first
Your page has to be saved once under SITE → Bearbeiten (edit) and have at least one link or feed.
2
Tick the box
Tick Veröffentlicht (published). This applies right away, without a save button.
3
Take a look
Open
oxom.site/@yourname, ideally on your phone too.oxom.site/@yourname always stays reachable, even with your own domain.
Short address
Your workspace name is long? Under Kurzadresse (short address) you set a second, shorter address, e.g.oxom.site/@max. Allowed are 2 to 32 characters: a–z, 0–9, - and _. While typing you see right away whether it is frei (available). Clearing the field and saving removes it again.
Your own domain
There are two ways.Way 1: your own domain or subdomain
For exampleyourname.tv or links.yourname.com.
1
Enter the domain
Type the domain into the field, without
www., and click Domain verbinden (connect domain).2
Set the DNS records
oxom shows a table with Typ, Name and Wert (type, name, value). Enter these records at your domain provider, you can copy each value with one click.
- Whole domain: an
Arecord for@and aCNAMEforwww - Subdomain: a
CNAME - Sometimes an additional
TXTrecord for verification
3
Check
Click Erneut prüfen (check again). Once it says Live, everything is done, including https.
There is one SITE domain per workspace. If you connect a new one, it replaces the old one. With a whole domain,
www redirects automatically. Domain trennen (disconnect domain) asks you to type the domain, to be safe.
Way 2: under your LINK domain
If you already have a short link domain under LINK, e.g.yourname.link, your SITE can run there under /links: yourname.link/links. To do this, click LINK-Domain nutzen (use LINK domain). Your short links keep running there as usual.
If there is already a short link /links on the domain, you have to rename it first.
Good to know
- On your domain there is only your page. Imprint, preview image and the short link
/videowork there too. - Search engines see your own domain as the main address.
- Owners, creators, admins and technicians can change domains.
