# Verification

> The check mark next to your name for large channels.

Large channels get a check mark next to their name on their SITE. That way visitors and brands see that the page really belongs to you.

## Who gets the check mark

| Platform | Threshold |
| - | - |
| **YouTube** | from 100,000 subscribers |
| **Twitch** | from 40,000 followers or as a partner |

## How it works

**1. Enter your channels**

Open **SITE → Verifizierung** (verification) and under **Kanäle** (channels) enter your **YouTube-Kanal** and/or **Twitch-Kanal** (YouTube / Twitch channel). Then **Speichern** (save).

**2. Show that the channel is yours**

Once a channel reaches the threshold, put `oxom.site/@yourname` in your channel description and save again. For Twitch, the confirmation can also go through your Twitch sign-in.

**3. Done**

Once everything is confirmed, the check mark appears on your page. Hovering over it shows which channels are verified.

If your platform hides the subscriber count, I check it by hand.

## Showing numbers

With **Zahlen auf meiner Seite zeigen** (show numbers on my page), e.g. “1.2M subscribers on YouTube” appears below your name. This is off by default.

## Good to know

* A verified channel is permanently tied to your page. The field can't be changed afterwards. If you need a change, [write to me](https://learn.oxom.de/en/hilfe/support.md).
* A channel can only be verified for one oxom page.
* oxom checks every day. If a channel drops below the threshold, the check mark stays for another 30 days, then it is hidden. If you get back above it, it's back.
