# Analytics

> Clicks, visitors, origin, apps and campaigns of your short links, without cookies.

Under **LINK → Analytics** you see what happens with your short links. At the top you pick the time range: **24 Stunden, 7 Tage, 30 Tage** or **90 Tage** (24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days).

## The numbers

| Number | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Klicks** (clicks) | all visits to your short links, compared to the previous period |
| **Besucher** (visitors) | distinct people per day, counted without cookies |
| **Über QR-Code** (via QR code) | how many came through a QR code from oxom |
| **Link-Vorschauen** (link previews) | how often Discord, WhatsApp and co. loaded a preview. This doesn't count as a click |

Below that: **Klicks im Zeitverlauf** (clicks over time).

## From where and with what

| List | What you see |

| **Links** | your most clicked links. One click filters everything to that link |
| **Länder** (countries) and **Großräume** (regions) | where your visitors are, down to regions |
| **Apps & Browser** | whether someone came from Instagram, TikTok or a regular browser |
| **Quellen (Referrer)** (sources) | which website the click came from |
| **Kampagnen** (campaigns) | the value `utm_campaign`, see below |
| **Geräte** (devices) and **Betriebssysteme** (operating systems) | smartphone, tablet, desktop, iOS, Android and so on |

## Tracking campaigns

Add `?utm_campaign=...` to a link, e.g. `yourname.link/merch?utm_campaign=story`. Then **Kampagnen** shows you how many clicks came from the story and how many from the video description. The addition is not passed on to your target.

## Privacy

* No cookies, so nobody needs a cookie banner.
* Visitors are only counted per day as an anonymous value, not tracked.
* Origin, devices and sources only appear from 5 distinct visitors. Smaller values are grouped under “Andere” (other). That way nobody can be identified individually.
* Clicks are deleted after 90 days.
